Jenifer Joy Simon makes each tote by hand on a sewing machine in her basement studio. She uses original, indie designer, and upcycled all cotton fabrics. Totes can take anywhere from 3-12 hours to make, depending on their complexity.

All fabrics used in totejoy totes have been pre-washed to prevent shrinking. Spot cleaning and light ironing are recommended to keep your tote looking fresh and crisp.

If you want a more thorough cleaning, you can hand wash or wash on a gentle or delicate setting.

Totes may shrink slightly even though they have been pre-shrunk. This is normal!
